LAYING & REPAIRING


1. Laying

On a Concrete slab:
- Install moisture barrier film or moisture barrier seal over the concrete slab.
- Install plywood secured with metal anchors, using a minimum of 24 anchors per sheet. (1200mm X 2400mm)
- Lay the overlay or solid timber floor using a trowel-applied adhesive and secret nailing techniques.

On Yellow tongue:
- Level sanding the substrate where required to ensure an even surface.
- Lay the overlay or solid timber floor using a trowel-applied adhesive and secret nailing techniques.
2. Repairing
- Timber floorboards may incur unexpected damage, including water or termite damage, broken boards from dropped heavy objects, marks from dragged furniture, or scuff marks from shoes. We will provide several repair options for you to choose from.
